EVA “JOANNE” HARPER

LAMAR- A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Memory Gardens Cemetery for Eva “Joanne” Harper, 85, Lee’s Summit, who died Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, in Olathe, Kan.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, at Daniel Funeral Home, and then proceed to the cemetery.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to either the McCarty Senior Center or the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her son, Greg Harper and wife Renee, Lenexa, Kan.; two grandchildren, Grant Harper and wife Ciara, Leawood, Kan. and Elizabeth Pine and husband Jonathan, Shawnee, Kan. and one brother, Jack Edward Noll and wife Allene, Lamar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennis; one sister, Carolyn Workman; one brother-in-law, Ernie Workman and one nephew, Terry Workman.

Mrs. Harper was born Jan. 15, 1938, in Lamar, to Raymond Edward Noll and Eva Gertrude (Rosebaugh) Noll. She was a 1956 graduate of Lamar High School. She married Lennis Edward Harper on June 2, 1956, in Golden City.

She worked as a secretary for Western Electric in Lee's Summit and was a member of the Telecom Pioneers Origination.
