EDITH “EDIE” FOREE

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.- A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Resurrection – Firestone Chapel “Building B” in Leawood for Edith “Edie” Nina Foree, 86, Overland Park, who died Friday, Sept. 29, 2023.

Arrangements were under the direction of McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Foree; a daughter, Susan Marie Price and husband Ben and grandchildren, Olivia Nina Ann Price and Ian Robert Price.

Mrs. Foree was born July 23, 1937, in Grantsburg, Wisc., to Oscar and Minnie Ekstrom. She was a retired reading teacher. She loved traveling and being with her family. Her joy was her grandchildren. She walked daily with a deep faith in the Lord. She was a very amazing pie maker and was known for that within the family.
