Lamar Tigers win 16th straight district championship

Photo by Terry Redman The Lamar Tigers won their 16th straight Class 2 District Championship over a tough Adrian Blackhawks squad by a 35-18 score. Pictured are the Tiger seniors and coaches. The Tigers will host Lafayette County on Saturday at 1 p.m., at Thomas M. O'Sullivan Stadium.

Barton is a runner to watch this spring, coming off an impressive season as freshman and fourth place finish at the state cross country meet last fall.
