Willis Strong passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2023.

If you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, the family suggests the Christian Church of Liberal, MO or the Barton County Senior Center in care of the funeral home.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday November 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Konantz Warden Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Konantz Warden Funeral Home on Monday November 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM.

Lamar’s Promenade 2025 was held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Wyatt Earp Park. Prom attendees entered from the back of the stage and were announced as they walked across the stage, down the stairs and then up the walkway. Thankfully the weather allowed the promenade to be held at the park, with a large crowd gathering to view the many seniors prior to attending their prom that was held at the Gaderian in Carthage.

Naomi Schneider, daughter of Luke and Tanya Schneider, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In her free time Naomi enjoys horseback riding, fishing with her brother, drawing, listening to music and playing outside. She has ducks, geese, horses, a dog, outside cats, chickens, bunnies and turkeys. Some things that are important to Naomi are family, grades and pets.
