KANSAS CITY, Kan.- Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, Mo. for Carol Jean Nash, 72, Kansas City, Kan. (formerly of Lamar, Mo.), who died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will follow at Killey Cemetery in Lamar, Mo.
A visitation will be held held prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to Apple Orchard Hospice, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip; two sons, Phillip Nash II and wife Cindy, Belton, Mo. and Justin Nash, Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Jennie Harris, Shawnee, Kan.; four grandchildren, Cody Nash, Katie Harris, Shelby Nash and Nicholas Harris; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nash and Cooper Nash; one brother, Rick Griffitt and wife Kathy and one sister, Linda Nemeth and husband Jim, both of Lamar, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son-in-law, Kevin Harris.
Mrs. Nash was born Aug. 3, 1951, in Lamar, Mo., to John J. Griffitt and Bernetta Jean (Schick) Griffitt. She graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kan. She married Phillip Lee Nash on Dec. 19, 1969, in Jackson County.
