Card drives, Veterans Day brunch, Veterans Day and Christmas gifts for local veterans and donations to the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home are just a few of the ways the Elks are supporting local veterans. Drone photo by Joe Davis A capacity crowd at the Barco Drive-In was a site to behold on Friday night, July 19. According to Scott Kelley, theatre manager, sales are cut off at 310 cars and unfortunately some had to be turned away. No fears though as Twisters A Quiet Place, rated PG-13, will be playing at the drive-in every night through Thursday, July 25. An interesting note – The original Twisters movie that was released in 1996 proved to be a sell out as well.
