ONA ARLENE NULL
LAMAR- Funeral services will be announced for Ona Arlene (Clements) Null, 88, Lamar, who died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Cox Medical Center in Springfield.
Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home. The family would appreciate a card and/or donation in lieu of flowers, due to the family living in multiple locations.

Survivors include one son, Todd Null, Lamar; one daughter, Leslie Roncelli and husband Dan, Odessa; two brothers, Maurice Clements, Lamar and Jarold Clements, Butler; one sister, Sharon Walls and husband John; two sisters-in-law, Mary Null, Overland Park, Kan. and Wanda Null, Lee's Summit; five grandchildren, Paige Null and husband Josh, Brittany Chandler and husband Denny, Lauryn Roncelli, Jenna Roncelli and Drew Roncelli; one great-grandson, Ripp; one great-granddaughter, Octavia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Null; one brother, Sonny Clements; one sister-in-law, Martha Clements and husband Maurice; two brothers-in-law, Carl Null and Albert Null and one great-granddaughter, Keeleigh (Paige).
Mrs. Null was born June 12, 1935, in Lamar, to Ora Deigh Clements and Mary Irene (Divine) Clements. She was a 1953 graduate of Lamar High School, where she was an excellent baton twirler for the school's marching band.
From there she would work for over 30 years in the telephone services for Southwestern Bell and Sprint, starting as a switchboard operator and ending in the fraud department before she would retire.
She met and fell in love with Donald Null and they were married Feb. 6, 1960, at the Lamar First Baptist Church. They would grow old together, traveling, raising a family and just enjoying each other for nearly 60 years, until he died on Nov. 30, 2020.
Mrs. Null was the foundation of the family through and through. Being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was the greatest joy of her life. She always knew the right thing to say, never missed a special event or date and she always supported them all through every struggle and passion that came into their lives. She made it her mission to always put family first. Cooking was a big part of her life, and she was extremely good at it. She always made sure everyone would have their own special sweet treat.
