DONALD “DON” LYNN DEAN

NEVADA, Mo.- Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Donald “Don” Lynn Dean, 77, Nevada, Mo., who died Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to Camp Barnabas, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri; two sons, Jeff Dean, Frankfort, Mich. and Jeffery Fisher, Jasper; one daughter, Ashley Sisseck and husband Matt, Jasper; two grandchildren, Willow Sisseck and James Sisseck, both of Jasper; one brother, Steve Dean and wife Ellen and one sister, Marsha Forkner and husband Larry, all of Richards.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Fisher.

Mr. Dean was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Nevada, Mo., to Harry Lynn Dean and Helen (Rutledge) Dean. He was a 1964 graduate of Metz High School. He married Sherri Ann Keirsey in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He owned and operated Jasper Grain in Jasper.
