JOHN M. TROYER

LAMAR- A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Golden City Mennonite Church for John M. Troyer, 95, Lamar, who died at his residence at 6:45 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024. Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include four sons, David Troyer and wife Sylvia, Somerset, Ohio, John Troyer and wife Mintie, Frankfort, Ohio, Alvin Troyer, Ramona, Calif. and Chris Troyer and wife Elsie, Lott, Texas; four daughters, Barbara Miller and husband John, Grandview, Texas, Mabel Miller and husband Jerry, Rosebud, Texas, Edna Miller and husband Jonathan, Knob Noster and Suzanne Yoder and husband Melvin, Lamar. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Leroy Graber, Elkhart, Ind., a sister-in-law, Susan Horst and husband Sam, Clarkrange, Tenn.; 41 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Verona; five brothers, three sisters, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Troyer was born April 4, 1928, in Centerville, Mich., to Moses and Lydia (Wickey) Troyer. He married Verona (Graber) Troyer on April 4, 1954.
