The Lamar Tiger Brotherhood held their 9th State Championship ring ceremony on Wednesday, May 1. Head Coach Jared Beshore began the night with an introduction to the evening's special guest, Ned Reynolds. The legendary sportscaster and Missouri Broadcast Hall of Famer gave an encouraging opening ceremony speech that favored the Lamar Tigers and their one of a kind football program. It was a special night for the Brotherhood as a whole, but for the senior players it was extraordinary. The 2023 State Championship win is their second, making their high school careers end with two state championship rings (2020 and 2023).
