Ryan Davis named to Mizzou Student Foundation

Pictured, left to right: On April 27, Kaitlyn Davis and Ryan Davis of Lamar represented the Mizzou Student Foundation at the Jefferson Club Annual Dinner, networking with top tier financial supporters of the University of Missouri-Columbia. The event was held on campus at the Reynolds Alumni Center during Mizzou’s Donor Recognition Weekend. MSF members serve as university ambassadors to alumni and the MU community, advocating charitable giving to Mizzou and helping to educate and encourage fellow students to become regular contributors to the university after graduation. Kaitlyn, a junior dual majoring in Political Science Pre-Law and Strategic Communications, currently serves as vice-president on the Executive Board of Mizzou Student Foundation. Ryan, a freshman majoring in AgriBusiness Management with an emphasis in Finance, was selected for membership in this prestigious program this past February.

According to Scott Kelley, theatre manager, sales are cut off at 310 cars and unfortunately some had to be turned away. No fears though as Twisters A Quiet Place, rated PG-13, will be playing at the drive-in every night through Thursday, July 25. An interesting note – The original Twisters movie that was released in 1996 proved to be a sell out as well.
