AOK began its first round of free summer lunches, served from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., at the Wyatt Earp Park, at the corner of Broadway and 10th St., in Lamar. The program is for youth ages five to 18 and is offered by About Our Kids (AOK) in partnership with Ozarks Food Harvest and the Barton County Chamber of Commerce. Grab-and-Go style meals are available Monday through Thursday, with weekly menus being listed on the AOK Facebook page or Instagram. This first Monday, June 3, Darrel Phipps and the Keller William Realty Team volunteered to provide and serve a meal once a month, with their first meal being hamburgers and hot dogs.
