Golden Harvest Days 2024, “Cowboy Boots ‘N’ Country Roots” was celebrated Friday and Saturday, July 13 and 19. A Tractor-Rama was scheduled for Saturday, July 13; unfortunately it was rained out and has been rescheduled for September 14. During the two days of the festival, not only did Mother Nature grace those attending with beautiful weather, but an abundance of entertainment that drew large crowds and fun and contents that were held for all to enjoy. Kids games were offered each evening, with many vendors set up, as well as with food trucks and the ever popular Golden City Fire Department’s offering of nachos, hot dogs and homemade ice cream. More information on the various events held throughout the event, along with pictures, will be featured in upcoming Democrats.
