Photos by James Epple Bleachers filled up quickly with spectators at The Toughest Monster Truck Tour held Friday and Saturday evenings, July 26 and 27, at The Stompin’ Grounds Freeman Event Center in Lamar. High flying action was in store, as several of the nation’s top monster trucks participated, along with FMX riders on Friday evening (the wind was too risky Saturday). A fireworks show concluded the evening.

Photos courtesy of Cecil Fyock The Lamar 8 Second Chute Out Bullriding Nationals delighted those attending on Friday and Saturday evenings, June 6 and 7, at The Stompin’ Grounds in Lamar. Thirty-eight riders, competing on 42 bulls for a total of 77 rides over the two nights of the show, excited the spectators with heart pounding action. Participants were from as far away as Brazil, Mexico and El Salvador, with several being from the United States.
