She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; two son-in-laws, James Payne and Delaine Ford and a great-grandson, Gibson Miller.
Mrs. Wolfe was born May 25, 1931, in Iantha, to Glenn and Esther Davis. She attended grade school in Iantha and was a graduate of Liberal High School. She was one of the two remaining graduates of the class of 1941. She married Lloyd D. Wolfe on June 3, 1951, at the Christian Church in Liberal, and together they shared 52 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and a very talented seamstress and knitter. When her daughters were young she made a lot of their clothes and costumes with meticulous detail. And a lot of newborn babies were the lucky recipient of a pair of her beautifully hand knitted booties. She volunteered many hours as a member of the Auxiliary at the then St. John’s Hospital in the mail and flower room delivering cards and flowers to the patients.
She had a quick wit and a dry sense of humor. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by them.
