IANTHA- A service has not been planned at this time for Teresa Louise Timmons, 67, Iantha, who died peacefully in her home on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include her sisters, Oneta Sweet, Iantha, Darlene Livingston, Jasper and Norma Eaves and husband Floyed, Iantha; nephews, Steven Sweet and wife Priscilla, Lamar, Charlie Sweet and wife Autumn, Granby and Kent Sweet, Iantha; nieces, Willa Doubledee, Iantha and Holly Chism and husband Andrew, Joplin and great-nephews, Matthew, Jacob, Taylor, Connor and Keaton Sweet.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Janice Sweet and Aaron Sweet and her three husbands, Lawrence Brosam, David Miller and Stan Timmons.

Mrs. Timmons was born in Jasper, to Walter and Iris (Howard Sweet). She was known for her kind heart, dedication to her family and deep love for animals.

In 1967 she and her family relocated to Iantha, where she graduated from Liberal High School in 1975. Over the years she lived in several towns within Jasper and Barton counties, touching the lives of many with her warm spirit and hard work. She held various jobs throughout her life, including at Maplewood Nursing Home in Jasper, Orscheln Farm and Home, Denny’s and Oxford Home Health. She also devoted much of her time to babysitting and caring for children, a role she cherished.

Her life was enriched by the love of her family and her beloved pets.

Her family and friends will remember her as a loving sister, aunt and friend who brought joy to those around her. Her compassionate nature and dedication to her loved ones will be deeply missed.
