BRONAUGH- Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Ferry Funeral Home for Sharon Cecilia Noel, 63, who died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Interment will follow in Barton City Cemetery in Liberal.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Haven, Joplin, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband Karl, of the home in Bronaugh; three sons, Bryant Noel and wife Amanda, Montgomery, Ala., Chase Noel, San Antonio Texas and Evan Noel, Kansas City, Mo. and Bronaugh; one sister, Linda Norris, Joplin; her father- and mother-in-law, Norman and Rosemary Noel, Bronaugh and many nieces and nephews. 
She was proceeded in death by a sister, Nancy Parker; her father, Leo Parker; a brother, Leo “Butch” Parker and her mother, Patricia Bomar.
Mrs. Noel was born May 22, 1961, in Bellflower, Calif., to Leo and Patricia Parker. They lived in Anaheim, Calif. and later moved to Norwood, Colo., and then to Nevada, Mo. She was a kindhearted, perceptive advocate for those in need and a fierce defender of God.
She was a 1979 graduate of Nevada High School. While studying with her friend, Pam Ellifrits, she met her future husband, Karl Noel and they were married on April 18, 1981. She later graduated from Missouri Southern State College with a BS in Special Education degree and an Associate degree in Psychology.
She taught for nearly 30 years in Cassville, Carthage, Carl Junction, Nevada, Bronaugh and St Mary’s School in Nevada. In between teaching jobs she took off a couple of years, started an assistance organization with Keri Keckley called Angel Mommies, ran an assistance business called Errands from the Heart, sat on the Carl Junction City Council, worked eight years for the Missouri Division of Family Services, Salvation Army and substitute taught. 
In her spare time she loved craft shows, decorating, painting and talking with family and friends.
