Lamar sixth grade falls to Webb City Red

Play began Saturday afternoon, Sept. 7, in Webb City, with the third grade Lamar Tigers taking on Webb City Red, followed with games played by the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. The third grade Tigers won their game 6-28, with fourth grade losing 28-0 and fifth grade falling 24-22. The battle between the Tigers and the Cardinals culminated with a night played “under the lights” by the sixth grade teams. It was an extremely hard fought battle between the two teams, with Webb City coming out victorious, winning the game by a score of 24-18. The Lamar Tigers will play at home on Saturday, Sept. 14, against Joplin Blue and then on September 21 they will remain home to face Neosho Gold. Be sure to come out and cheer on your Tigers!
