DEANA LEANN LEGRAND

LAMAR- A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar for Deana LeAnn (Wise) LeGrand, 54, Lamar, who died Monday, Sept. 9, 2024.

Arrangements were under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Survivors include her biological father, Willie Wise; her mother, Willa Mae Owen; one son, Levi Shankles and wife Kim; one daughter, Sabrina Shankles and Jason Cliett; two stepdaughters, Megan LeGrand and Olivia LeGrand; eight grandchildren, Westyn, Brayleigh, Landon, Lucas, Wyatt, McKenzie, Gayvn and Delilah and three sisters, Rhonda Hackathorne, Edeana Castlebeury and husband Joe and Dana Evans and husband Jason.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Wayne Owen; one sister, Terri Chadd; one brother, Darrin Wise and grandparents, Mary and Bill Jones.

Mrs. LeGrand was born July 30, 1970, in Lamar, to Willie Lee Wise and Willa Mae (Jones) Owen. She was a 1988 graduate of Lamar High School.

She worked as a dietary technician at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lamar.

She loved football and was a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
