The Tigers dropped the game to the Mountaineers 42-32 to fall to 3-2. The Tigers will host the Nevada Tigers in the Silver Tiger game in the battle for Oscar on Friday evening.

Barton County 4-H Teen Leaders presented a Fall Festival at Lamar West Elementary School on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. Two hundred and eighty-eight students, third through fifth grades, participated at various stations set up in the gymnasium.

East Primary October Tigers of the Month
Photos by James Epple Volunteers helped light the massive amount of votive candles that were located on the Walk of Honor at the Barton County Memorial Park, along with the 69 service markers off to the side of veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice during World War II. A total of 840 veterans were recognized during the program, with many families attending in order to hear their loved one mentioned.
