LIBERAL- A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar, for Dollie Mae (Stephenson) Smith, 81, Liberal, who died Monday, Oct. 7, 2024. Interment will follow at Alder Cemetery in Stockton.

Anyone that would like to sign the book in advance of services, the funeral home is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or you can sign the book at their drive-up box located on the north side of the north driveway.

Survivors include her children, Marlene Beard and husband Mark, Lockwood, Patty Smith, Joplin, Tammy Criner, Pittsburg, Kan.; Dorothy Spivey and husband Rick, Liberal and Andrew Smith and wife Amber, of Pittsburg, Kan. She is also survived by her sister. Donna Rotramel and husband Deryle, of Liberal; a brother, Wayne Stephenson and wife Shirley, of Springfield, Tenn., numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great grand dog Appa. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; grandchild, James Hoag and siblings. Lois Etter and Leroy Stephenson. 

Mrs. Smith was born in Stockton to Myrl and Almeda Stephenson. She married Ralph Smith in 1970. She and her husband enjoyed time together in their home with family and friends. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Liberal. She and Ralph enjoyed time together in their home with family and friends. Dollie was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Liberal. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. She will be missed.
