Barbara Ellen White Johnson, age 83, of Broken Arrow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Born on September 9, 1940, in Broken Arrow, OK. Barbara lived a full and vibrant life in the community she loved.
Barbara was the beloved widow of Kent Leroy Johnson, with whom she shared 36 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family and created countless cherished memories.
She is survived by her three children: Stephen W. Johnson, Phayne J. Johnson, and Jerri L. Mankey. Barbara was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Kent A. Mileto Johnson, Atticus D. Johnson, Corbin A. Johnson, Jayden L. Johnson, and Lincoln A. Johnson, who brought immense joy to her life.
Barbara is also survived by her siblings and their spouses: Ronald White and his wife Netta, Anna Marie Puckett and her husband David, and Phyllis Oglesby and her husband Chris. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Barbara’s life was a testament to love, family, and community. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Barbara’s memory.
