Vicki Michelle Gastel, 55, Sheldon, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Memorial services are at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Ferry Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lamar.

East Primary October Tigers of the Month
Photos by James Epple Volunteers helped light the massive amount of votive candles that were located on the Walk of Honor at the Barton County Memorial Park, along with the 69 service markers off to the side of veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice during World War II. A total of 840 veterans were recognized during the program, with many families attending in order to hear their loved one mentioned.
