Stebbins eclipses 1,000 digs mark

Liberal senior libero Libby Stebbins (center) eclipsed the 1,000 digs mark in her volleyball career during last week's district tournament. Stebbins and her teammates put together a successful season but dropped the district title contest to the host, Jasper, who has since gone on to the Final Four.

East Primary October Tigers of the Month
Photos by James Epple Volunteers helped light the massive amount of votive candles that were located on the Walk of Honor at the Barton County Memorial Park, along with the 69 service markers off to the side of veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice during World War II. A total of 840 veterans were recognized during the program, with many families attending in order to hear their loved one mentioned.
