Metzger’s Mutterings
Katie Vickers, daughter of Derek and Beth Odle, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Katie enjoys reading, dancing, singing and watching the Harry Potter movies. She has a cat and three dogs. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading. She loves school and is proud of every teacher in the school district. Her favorite colors are green and white.

Barton County 4-H Teen Leaders presented a Fall Festival at Lamar West Elementary School on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. Two hundred and eighty-eight students, third through fifth grades, participated at various stations set up in the gymnasium.
