Seventh grade Lady Tigers go undefeated

The Lamar seventh grade Lady Tigers earned the Big 8 Conference Championship for 2024-25 following a highly successful undefeated season, going 16-0. They outscored their opponents 723-191. Lockwood Tigers win over visiting Jasper Eagles
Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow The Jasper Lady Eagles and Lockwood Lady Tigers squared off in a battle of two of the area's better teams recently at Lockwood. The visiting Lady Eagles came away with a 56-55 overtime victory. According to MSHSAA's website, the Lady Eagles are 10-0 at the Christmas break. The young Lady Tigers team is off to an impressive 7-2 start. Here Alivea Roberts is defended by Lockwood's Whitney Sangster.
