Keaton Wolfe, son of Chuck and Crystal Wolfe, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Keaton plays football, baseball and basketball. The Lamar High School Book Club, under the direction of Mrs. Buzzard and Mrs. Hernandez, presented a program at the January 15 Lamar R-1 School Board meeting, regarding their accomplishments this past year. They stated that the club currently has 28 members and they will be hosting their state conference this year.

Teagan Fowler, daughter of Jeremy and Beth Fowler, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. She enjoys playing volleyball and being outside. Teagan’s favorite things to do are going on vacation and swimming in the summer.

Leeza Venable, daughter of Matthew and Elisabeth Venable, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Leeza likes dogs, her favorite time of day is when they get to go home and she likes food.

Here a pair of seniors, key performers on their respective team's success over the last four years, do battle with Liberal's Jordan Goodell dribbling the ball out from under her own basket as Jasper's Emersyn Bass looks to pressure her. Jasper won the semifinal contest 69-58.
