City council hears YMCA overview

Jonathan Roberts was present at the January 21 Lamar City Council meeting to give an update on the YMCA and told of the various programs and services that the Lamar facility will offer its members.

East Primary December Tigers of the Month
The Lamar High School Book Club, under the direction of Mrs. Buzzard and Mrs. Hernandez, presented a program at the January 15 Lamar R-1 School Board meeting, regarding their accomplishments this past year. They stated that the club currently has 28 members and they will be hosting their state conference this year.
