Angelina Bradshaw, daughter of Sherri Faust, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Angelina loves to read and do art. She has a dog named Princess and a cat named Mr. Yappers. She loves studying mythology and loves track and basketball.

Keaton Wolfe, son of Chuck and Crystal Wolfe, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Keaton plays football, baseball and basketball. He likes to go hunting and fishing and playing outside. His favorite subjects are Math and Social Studies. He enjoys attending youth group and Milford Christian Church.
Students of the week
The Lamar High School Book Club, under the direction of Mrs. Buzzard and Mrs. Hernandez, presented a program at the January 15 Lamar R-1 School Board meeting, regarding their accomplishments this past year. They stated that the club currently has 28 members and they will be hosting their state conference this year.

Several snowmen could be found around the area following the recent snow that was received, with the snow being the perfect snow for playing. This snowman was created by friends Chloe Moore, Lexi Moore, Kinzley Melton and Jeanna Wolfe.
