LHS Academic Stars 2025 recognized

Lamar High School hosted its annual academic banquet, “Academic Stars 2025” on Tuesday, March 25. One hundred and thirty-three students received an academic letter for having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. In addition, Elliana Griffith and Jordan Null were recognized for being in the 29 Club for scoring 29 or higher on their ACT, which puts them in the 90th percentile nationwide. Students who had scored Advanced on last year’s EOC and students who had read all of this year’s Gateway books were also recognized. Academic Tigers Awards were presented to Oliver Weis, freshman; Ana Ngugi, sophomore, Brenna Morey, junior and Luke Tabakian, senior and the night concluded with 27 National Honor Society members being introduced by Mrs. Ray as they were inducted.
