First car show of 2025 draws large attendance

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The first car show of 2025 had to be delayed a week, due to the weather, but it was well worth the wait as a large number of cars registered for the event, with the nice weather bringing out spectators galore.

Irwin Community Church hosted its sixth wild game feed on Saturday evening, March 29. The wild game fare included beaver, venison, raccoon and spoonbill, with a wide variety of dishes. For those not adventurous, barbecued beef meatballs and a rabbit casserole were served, as well as a table full of yummy desserts.
