Ground shaking action rocks Stompin’ Grounds

Ground shaking action occurred as heavily modified and custom-built machines were hookedup to 50,000 pound sleds on twin tracks at the Stompin’ Grounds on Saturday, Aug. 2, for the Heritage Tractor I-49 Power Pull, presented by Freedom Campers. Classes ranged from Pro Stock 4x4 trucks to Light Mod tractors. The show began at 7 p.m., under what were perfect weather conditions and the stands were full. There were 54 competitors, with just over 2,000 in attendance. Sponsors for the event were Heartland Tractor, Freedom Campers, Seed and Farm, Beardies Kustom Collision, Missouri Eagle, Arvest Bank, Gardner Construction, Stevens Automotive, Tractors BBQ, Zach Erwin Construction and Dairy Queen.
