Walkers participate in Walk for Life

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Despite the dreary weather, devoted walkers gathered at the Lamar City Park shelter house to participate in the Barton County Walk for Life, held Monday, Sept. 1. Those walking gathered at 9 a.m., hearing scripture and prayer before taking off on their journey at the park’s walking trail.
