Rotary Club holds veterans appreciation luncheon

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The Lamar Rotary Club held its annual Veterans Day appreciation luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Lamar Methodist Church Family Life Center. Those attending were treated to a catered lunch served by Rotary and Lamar High School choir members. The choir treated those attending to the National Anthem, along with a medley of Armed Forces songs, in which veterans for that branch of the service stood as their song was played. Also held by the VFW Post 3691 was the Missing Man Table ritual.
