Truman Healthcare holds annual fireworks show

Photo by James Epple The annual fireworks show that is put on by Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center’s facility on 1st St., in Lamar, was spectacular, as usual. The event was held Wednesday, July 1, with many residents, guests and members of the community enjoying the show. Prior to the fireworks, Truman offered free hot dogs and chips. Also available was a local food truck, Not Ya Mommas Waffles & Lemonade and snow cones by Hospice Compassus. DJ services were provided by Landon Myers. This is an event that both residents and community members look forward to yearly. Anyone wishing to make a donation for next year’s show, let them know. I’m sure they would appreciate the help.
