PENNI LEHMAN
LAMAR- Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Daniel Funeral Home for Penni Diane Lehman, 64, Lamar, who died Friday morning, Nov. 3, 2017, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood. Burial was in Lake Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her parents, Roy and Thelma Lehman, Lamar; two brothers, Jerald Lehman and wife Connie and Allen Lehman, all of Lamar; twin sisters, Kenda Garfield and husband Mark, Lamar and Karma Hartong and husband Mark, St. Joseph, nieces and nephews, Kelsey Parker and husband Brandon, Brandon Lehman and wife Brittanii, Nicole Osborne and husband Micah, Whitney Garfield, Parker Garfield and wife Ciara, Alison Hedrick and husband Mitchell and Taylor Doran and husband Austin; great-nieces and nephews, Karson and Sophia, Trentyn, Talia and Jaidyn, Eli and Ella and Macey and was looking forward to celebrating the birth of great-niece Doran this December. She will be greatly missed by her large extended family and a host of friends.
Ms. Lehman was born Oct. 15, 1953, in Lamar, to Roy and Thelma (Johnston) Lehman. After graduating from Lamar High School in 1971, she went on to earn a bachelor of science degree in education from SMS in Springfield. Throughout her 32 years of teaching high school sciences, she sparked the love of learning, enriched lives and contributed to the success of countless students in Golden City, Republic and Lamar. She was devoted to her family and was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church.
