Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The 3rd Annual Mental Health Fair, hosted by About Our Kids (AOK) and the Rural Communities Coalition (RCC) was held Friday, March 28, 12 noon to 5 p.m., at Lamar Memorial Hall. Several vendors were set up to offer the variety of services available in the community.

Barton County 4-H joined more than 900 4-H youth on Wednesday, March 26, 4-H Day at the Capitol. 4-H youth from all over the state gathered, representing 88 counties from Missouri. Forty 4-H youth and volunteers from Barton County attended, according to MU Extension 4-H Youth Program Associate Elaine Davis.
