DWAYNE SPROULS
LIBERAL- Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Iantha Community Center for Dwayne Marion Sprouls, 66, Liberal, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at his home. A visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the Iantha Community Center.
Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include his wife Sandy; daughters, Sandra Kennedy and husband Jack, Liberal and Brittany Spurling and Amy, Liberal; a son, Jason Sprouls, Jasper; six granddaughters, Masha, T’ariah, Shelby, Mykala, Diamond and Izabelle and two great-granddaughters, Era and Wrenleigh. He is also survived by his mother, Ellen “Laverne” Sprouls; brothers, Dwight Sprouls and wife Cindy and Doug Sprouls and wife Pam; sisters, Diann Marti and husband Randy and Darla Loy and husband Michael and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Sprouls.
Mr. Sprouls was born Oct. 24, 1955, in Lamar, to Marion and Lavern (Miller) Sprouls. He was a 1974 graduate of Liberal High School. He worked as a mechanic while in school. He worked several jobs, including five years for Younger Construction, Barton County Ford, Gilkey’s and Lamar Auto Park, before opening Sprouls Garage in the early 90’s. In 1998 he began a 13-year career, working for his brother at Sprouls Construction.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
